Scanpharm operates in compliance
with cGMP and HACCP and is approved to manufacture both medicines and food
supplement products.
Scanpharm is frequently inspected by the Danish Medicines Agency and the Danish
Veterinary and Food Administration in accordance with their respective
inspection routines. Scanpharm’s
manufacturing license includes galenic and
packaging operations as well as quality control operations handled by our
skilled laboratory department.
In addition to the authority
inspections, we have frequent customer audits.
Our QA team consist of no less
than one Qualified Person responsible for release of pharmaceuticals to
customers and patients worldwide alongside senior QA employees. Our food
supplement products are released by our QA team as
well.
QA operates as an independent
part of manufacturing operations and oversees the daily production being
present alongside production personnel for the continuous improvement of our
manufacturing, quality and understanding of same.
